Situated on Bellevue Avenue, straddling the highly prized Ambleside and Dundarave neighbourhoods, the 22-storey oceanfront building is just steps away from the beautiful West Vancouver Seawall. 

The generous one-bedroom and two-bedroom rental apartments each have large windows and open balconies with breathtaking views that include the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park, the North Shore Mountains and stunning sunsets over Vancouver Island to the east. The rental apartments all feature bright kitchens with dishwashers and abundant storage. Units range from 650 to 1050 sq ft, and our two-bedroom suites have sunken living rooms. 

Shorewood Manor is truly special, with a genuine community atmosphere in the building. Many of the residents have lived in their Shorewood apartment for numerous years and are friendly with their building neighbours. These renters enjoy a fully accessible building and an extremely secure living environment, with a state-of-the-art keyless entry system and a secure, gated parking garage. Onsite Building Managers are available seven days a week.

The rental apartment building’s common areas have recently been updated to include a beautiful and welcoming lobby area, ramps for wheelchair access and stylish upgrades to all the corridors and hallways. Everyone who rents an apartment at Shorewood benefits from updating and attention to detail.

Shorewood Manor also offers other amenities, like visitor parking, bicycle storage and storage lockers for our rental tenants. Do you allow pets?
No. We have a strict no pet policy that is non-negotiable.
What utilities are included in the rent?
Heat and hot water are included in the rent.
Is parking or storage included in the rent?
Yes. Parking stalls and storage lockers are available for an additional monthly fee. For current pricing, please ask the Building Managers.
Do you have a charging station for an electric car?
No. We do not currently have charging stations for electric cars.
Is there a place to store my bicycle(s)?
Yes. Bicycle storage is available, please ask the Building Managers for details.
Is there in-suite laundry?
No. There is an on-site coin-operated laundry facility.
How long is the lease for?
All suites are rented on a minimum 1-year fixed lease. After the year is up, the lease continues on a month-to-month basis.
How old is the building?
Shorewood Manor was built in 1968 with significant renovations completed in recent years.
Can we have a BBQ on our balcony?
No. BBQs are not allowed on balconies.
Can we smoke on the balcony?
Smoking is prohibited on the balcony, in suites, in the building and anywhere on the property. However, there may be Residents who reside in "grandfathered" units of the building where smoking is not prohibited. Please see Building Managers for details.
Can I pay my rent with a credit card?
No. We require all rental payments to be paid by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). For more information, please ask the Building Managers.

Central West Vancouver Neighbourhood

West Vancouver sits across Burrard Inlet from Vancouver. Mainly a residential district, West Vancouver is known for its unique combination of small-town charm and cosmopolitan amenities.

Shorewood Manor is perfectly situated on the waterfront in central West Vancouver. This prized, quiet and extremely safe North Shore location is in the heart of one of the Lower Mainland’s preeminent neighborhoods and is within walking and cycling distance of virtually everything West Vancouver has to offer, from shops to restaurants to green spaces. 

Numerous parks and beaches are only a short Seawall walk in either direction from the Shorewood Manor. To the west lies the quaint village of Dundarave, where coffee shops, restaurants, galleries and boutiques line either side of Marine Drive. Heading east leads to the Ambleside shopping strip, scenic Ambleside Park, and  Park Royal Shopping Centre

Residents can also take advantage of a few minutes walk to the well-resourced West Vancouver Memorial Library, the West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre, Ice Rink and the Seniors’ Centre – all of which offer myriad fitness, hobby and adult education classes. The neighbourhood is appointed with everything to meet your day-to-day needs, from yoga studios to medical and dental offices to financial institutions and pharmacies. Local first-class grocery stores, like Fresh Street Market, IGA and Whole Foods offer free delivery to local residents.

If you desire a faster pace, downtown Vancouver is only a fifteen-minute drive over the Lions Gate Bridge, often even faster if you take advantage of West Vancouver’s excellent public transit system. The nearest Blue Bus stop is just a block from your apartment and will take you over town or to the Horeshoe Bay Ferry Terminal where you can board a BC Ferry bound for Nanaimo, Bowen Island or the Sunshine Coast.

If outdoor recreation is your passion, West Vancouver is an absolute paradise, with the 15-block West Vancouver Seawall just the tip of the iceberg. The pristine walking trails and views of Lighthouse Park are just eight kilometres away and Cypress Mountain with its downhill and cross-country ski sites is just a 15-minute drive. For the more adventurous skiers and hikers, it’s only an 75-minute drive on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler.
