Shopping in Kerrisdale is a real treat, thanks to more than 200 shops with something for every age and taste. Much-loved local boutiques are interspersed with well-known brand names, offering a unique and wonderful combination of stores. This includes the beloved institutions Thomas Hobbs Fine Florist, Buchan’s Stationery & Gifts, Hill’s of Kerrisdale, Kerrisdale Bootery and Moore’s Bakery. Intermingled among the diverse range of shops and services are cafés, restaurants and tea houses offering plenty of downtime for busy shoppers.
Kerrisdale Village runs along West 41st Avenue between Maple Street and Larch Street. The Village also runs along the West Boulevard from West 37th to West 49th avenues.

Kerrisdale also has local street bikeways where cyclists share the roadway with motor vehicles on quiet neighbourhood streets.
Kerrisdale is well served by public transit, with direct bus routes to UBC, downtown Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby. It also provides easy access to four Skytrain rapid transit stations. The bus routes are just a few short blocks away from both of Austeville’s Kerrisdale properties.
Staying active is easy
Thanks to relatively flat topography, Kerrisdale is extremely accessible for walking and cycling for people of all ages and fitness levels. With many public parks and tennis courts, the Arbutus Greenway, and proximity to the vast Pacific Spirit Park as well as Southlands for those who ride horses, it’s no wonder locals spend so much time outside.
For rainy Vancouver days, there are many indoor fitness options. Kerrisdale Community Centre features an indoor pool, a well-equipped gym and offers all types of fitness classes. For skating enthusiasts, the centrally located Kerrisdale Cyclone Taylor Arena is a great option. There is also a good selection of personal training gyms, yoga and Pilates studios in the area.
In summer, you can relax at Maple Grove Pool, play soccer or take tennis lessons at Elm Park, or take the kids to the delightful Kerrisdale Play Palace.
