Although UBC borders on Vancouver, it really is a city unto itself. When you rent at UBC’s Chancellor Court, you are less than a block from the “University Village,” a collection of shops and services that provides everything you need for day-to-day living. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, healthcare providers, a post office, bank, fitness facility, liquor store and more are just steps away. UBC Hospital is less than a block away, as is Jim Everett Memorial Park, a lovely green space where you can relax, eat lunch, or people watch. Other shopping plazas, a full-service grocery store, a national drugstore, and the many shops at the UBC Nest are also within a 10-minute walk.
The convenient location of our UBC apartments is wonderful, but so is the easy access to culture. You’ll never be at a loss for something interesting to see or do. Performing art centres, art galleries, museums and sports arenas are abundant at UBC. The Museum of Anthropology is a Vancouver landmark and a place you’ll want to visit many times, with its incredible architecture, breathtaking views, and spectacular Northwest Coast First Nations art collection.
