Austeville Properties values healthy environments as well, and has taken much care to integrate sustainability into Pacific Palisades apartments. Low-flow toilets, occupancy sensors, materials with high recycled content, and LED and fluorescent lighting are just some of the eco-friendly design features in each rental unit.

The Commons, Pacific Palisades' amenities building, offers residents 6,000 sq ft of space, divided into 3 zones: laundry, fitness and meeting spaces, with free WIFI throughout. The laundry space is modern and well-equipped, with high-efficiency front-loading washers and EnergyStar dryers, plus a large folding and counter area with barstools. It opens onto a beautiful courtyard. The fitness area includes state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a yoga space. Clerestory windows allow for plenty of natural light. Four meeting rooms with windows facing the courtyard vary in size from 100 to 350 sq ft. There are two shared kitchenettes and two of rooms can be combined for large gatherings.

Do you allow pets?
No. We have a strict no pet policy that is non-negotiable.
What utilities are included in the rent?
Heat and hot water are included in the rent.
Is parking or storage included in the rent?
Yes. Parking stalls and storage lockers are available for an additional monthly fee. For current pricing, please ask the Building Managers.
Do you have a charging station for an electric car?
No. We do not currently have charging stations for electric cars.
Is there a place to store my bicycle(s)?
Yes. Bicycle storage is available, please ask the Building Managers for details.
Is there in-suite laundry?
The penthouse suites have in-suite laundry. All other residents have access to a large, on-site coin-operated laundry facility.
How long is the lease for?
All unfurnished suites are rented on a minimum 1-year fixed lease. After the year is up, the lease continues on a month-to-month basis. All furnished suites are rented on a minimum 3-month fixed lease, after which the lease continues on a month-to-month basis.
How old is the building?
Pacific Palisades was built in 1969 and was then fully renovated in 2012.
Can we have a BBQ on our balcony?
No. BBQs are not allowed on balconies.
Can we smoke on the balcony?
Pacific Palisades is a smoke-free property. This means that smoking is prohibited in all areas of the property including, but not limited to, hallways, lobbies, amenity areas, the grounds, parkade, balconies and suites.
Can I pay my rent with credit card?
No. We require all rental payments to be paid by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). For more information, please ask the Building Managers.

DOWNTOWN ROBSON STREET NEIGHBOURHOOD

Pacific Palisades is centrally located in Vancouver's downtown residential area, where the West End and Robson Street neighbourhoods meet. The West End is one of Vancouver's oldest neighbourhoods and one of the city's loveliest places to live. Tree-lined streets, handsome heritage homes and lots of parks and green spaces are a few of the unique features that make the West End so livable.

Pacific Palisades' downtown Vancouver location is a walker’s paradise, with absolutely everything you need for day-to-day living either down the street or around the corner. Residents here are in the midst of a natural wonderland with the Pacific Ocean and Stanley Park right next door, yet all manner of shops, restaurants and amenities available along Robson and Denman streets. Robson Street offers unparalleled shopping at both national stores and local boutiques. Foodies are in luck, too, with hundreds of restaurants from mom n' pop diners to five-star eateries within easy reach. Drugstores, supermarkets including Capers/Whole Foods and Urban Fare, and the West End Farmer's Market at Comox and Thurlow (June through October) are also close by.

Want to go the beach? No problem. The sands of English Bay are just nine short blocks away. Not a beach type but love the water and mountains? Walk five minutes in the opposite direction and you’ll be at stunning Coal Harbour. Transit is readily available, whether by bus, Seabus  or SkyTrain. And cyclists are perfectly positioned to take on the city, whether as commuters, exercisers or sightseers.
