Pineview Place–South Granville
Want to live close to the action of Vancouver’s downtown but craving a more sophisticated and casual vibe? Look no further than the light and airy rental suites of Austeville Properties’ Pineview Place.
Centrally located at West 10th Avenue and Pine Street, Pineview Place provides comfortable and homey rental living in the heart of one of Vancouver’s most chic and central neighbourhoods.
The quiet, four-storey rental building boasts 21 one- and two-bedroom suites. Each apartment has been renovated or substantially upgraded over the past few years and includes newer kitchens, bathrooms and flooring as well as open balconies and available storage lockers.
Residents also have access to secure underground parking and bike storage.
A sophisticated yet approachable vibe
The South Granville neighbourhood, with its varied array of restaurants, boutiques and galleries, is a mecca for foodies, fashonistas and arts enthusiasts. Yet despite its high-end offerings, South Granville radiates an approachable, almost small-town ambiance. First developed in the early 1900s, even its commercial areas are surrounded by serene, tree-lined streets, charming heritage buildings and green spaces.
Residents are within an easy walk of every amenity and service they could need–from pharmacies to hair salons, doctor’s offices and more. As a bonus, they are minutes from some of Vancouver’s best shopping.
From major labels like James Perse and Anthropologie to local, independent stores like Bacci Design or Lord’s, South Granville is arguably the most enjoyable place to buy clothes and shoes in Vancouver.
While you’re out, satisfy your cravings with a delicious meal at gourmet eateries like award-winning West or Vij’s. For a less formal meal, grab something prepared from Meinhardt or a coffee and muffin from Caffe Barney.
For amateur chefs who prefer to prepare their own meals, Pineview Place is a close walk to Granville Island, home to some of BC’s the best produce, meat and seafood, not to mention stunning flower arrangements to finish off the table.
Speaking of tables, you can easily outfit your entire rental suite from neighbourhood furniture, home décor and antique shops like Pottery Barn, Country Furniture, Williams Sonoma and Restoration Hardware.
For anyone who loves the arts, this is the place for you. There are 20+ galleries to peruse on “Gallery Row,” offering everything from First Nations originals to contemporary masterpieces. The two Arts Club stages offer live performances, and there is a rotating array of festivals and buskers to entertain you at Granville Island all year round.
The neighbourhood also provides plenty of opportunities to exercise. From lawn bowling to hardcore cardio workouts, yoga, zumba or just walking to do your errands, there’s no excuse for being a couch potato when you live in South Granville.
Of course, Pineview Place residents can easily access the rest of the city, too. The building is right on the 10th Avenue bike route. It’s also mere steps to public transit that easily connects you to downtown, Kitsilano, Richmond, the North Shore and more.
